The only brick Tudor style house in Dawson was built in 1935 by
Henry Alfred and Hazel Roberts Wilkinson who continued to live
in the home until Mr. Wilkinson’s death in 1992. It passed
through several owners until purchased by Windell and Missy
Widner in 2004 who have been renovating and restoring the
interior. The architectural style of this house is
characterized by a high peaked roof, leaded windows and arched
set back entrance. There have been few interior modifications
and the property still contains its original interior and
exterior outlines. Notable is an intricate brick and stucco
chimney and side porch with columns.
