Cook-Adams

College Street, Parrott

The R. F. Cook family built this typical Victorian home in 1900, and the family lived there until the house was sold to Fletcher Hasty in 1954.  It passed through several owners until purchased by Paul and Nancy Adams in 1998.   The architecture is a typical ‘four square’ construction with a wrap around porch.  At some point, a two room addition was made at the rear of the house, and it was later divided down the center into two apartments.  The Adams have restored the house to its original plan, but kept the rear bedroom addition.  Many of the original outbuildings remain on the property.
