This Neo-Colonial
Home was built circa 1890. Judge James Griggs acquired the home
in 1897, complete with connecting kitchen, barn, and smokehouse.
Through the years, extensive changes were made by Judge Griggs.
Most notable is the portico addition. During his U.S.
Congressional term, Judge Griggs acquired the Adam style
mantelpiece and large pier mirror from the United States
Capitol.
Since
1970, Colonel and Mrs. Edgar Duskin have added their refinements
to this stately structure and its surrounding landscape. It is
now the residence of Carolyn and Edgar W. Duskin, Jr
