This Neo-Colonial Home was built circa 1890. Judge James Griggs acquired the home in 1897, complete with connecting kitchen, barn, and smokehouse. During his U.S. Congressional term, Judge Griggs acquired the Adam style mantelpiece and large pier mirror from the United States Capitol.
