This Queen
Anne/Colonial Revival home is distinguished by the wide and
columned front porch. It was built circa 1910 by the A. J.
Baldwin family. There are twelve foot beaded board ceilings,
chair rails and picture rails throughout. Pocket doors open
from the entrance hall to the parlor, and French doors link the
parlor to the dining room.
Upon Mr. Baldwin’s
death in 1948, his widow Jewel, purchased the
Hollingsworth-Baldwin-Rogers home (#61). Following several
short-term owners, the current owner, Ms. Ann Chambless,
inherited the property from her mother, Daphne.
