This Queen Anne
style home is another example of those constructed in Dawson
around the turn of the twentieth century. It has a wraparound
veranda supported by 23 tapered columns. The style leads one to
believe this to be another F. A. Ruggles design.
The Saville family
lived in the home until 1948. It was then occupied by four
spinster/widow ladies. In 1972, Mittie Ann Brown inherited the
house from her aunt, Mrs. Neva T. Oxford.
