This modified Greek
Revival style home was built circa 1901. It was originally
constructed in the shotgun style, with a large central hall
flanked by two rooms on each side.
It has been in the
Griggs family since 1915. In 1995, Col. Ed and Ann Duskin began
extensive modification and it is now a totally modern dwelling.
The central hall was enclosed behind the foyer to create closets
and bathrooms. The screened porch was glassed in, the kitchen
enlarge, a bedroom added and a semi-circular brick staircase now
addresses the portico.
