This Queen Anne style home was built in 1896 and was the first home for newlyweds George and Pearl Dozier.  As was the custom at that time, the kitchen was originally a separate structure from the house, connected by a breezeway.  In the early 1900s, the breezeway was enclosed, attaching the kitchen to the house. Many other changes have been made in the long and rich history of this house.
