The Parrott Baptist church traces its history from 1888 and is deeply intertwined with that of Parrott and the surrounding community.  The original wooden building was completed and dedicated in 1890.  A pastorium was built in 1912 on the Northeast corner of the spacious lot.

            Construction of the present Neo-Classical Eclectic style house of worship began in the late 1910s and was dedicated in 1920.  The large annex was added in the early 1960s.
