This home was built circa 1905 by Edgar Thomas Woods.  The Colonial Revival front was added later.

            Steve and Jean Highsmith bought the home in 1973, repairing the exterior, replacing the roof and siding.

            When Don and Ruby Gentry acquired the house in 1987, they continued the restoration; remodeling the kitchen and adding central heat and air conditioning.

            Ron and Wilma Blake bought the home in 1993 and have been concentrating on restoring the woodwork by stripping and refinishing.
