Ruggles-Dozier-Jordan-Almeida

351 Church Street, NE

This Victorian home dates from the late 1890’s. F.A. Ruggles built it for his family. He also constructed many other homes in Dawson. In 1896 Miss Olive Ruggles deeded the property to Mrs. Moses Baldwin. The Dozier family lovingly cared for it from the 1930’s to the late 90’s.

The house features an abundance of ornate trim and millwork produced locally. Mr. Ruggles was part owner of the Dawson Manufacturing Company, which produced the trim and millwork used in this and many other homes in the region.
