The original three-room structure of this house was built by Drew M. Dismuke in the early 1900s as a home for the family cook.  Billy and Jean Lark acquired the original structure along with the main house in 1959.  They added three bedrooms and a bath in the mid-1980s.

            Mavis Lark Moore, their daughter, moved into a greatly improved version of the original three-room frame house in 1993.  She did extensive work on the home in 1994.
