This bungalow style home was built circa 1915 by J. P. Grimes.  Over the years, it has been home to several families.  Roger and Kay Barfield acquired it in 1974 and began extensive renovations and remodeling.

            Seybron and Frances Jett moved into this home in 1992.  They restored the hardwood floors in the original section. and carpeted the rest of the house.  A screened in porch was added and the laundry room was enlarged.  Some of the original molding remains and original French doors are still in use.  The front door and a claw-foot tub in one of the bathrooms are also original.
