This Craftsman/Bungalow style home was built in 1923 by W. H. Dismuke.  The home was part of his farm which covered the entire block.  It is a substantial brick structure, featuring heart pine floors throughout, five fireplaces, French windows and plaster walls.  Gerald and Linda Boyd purchased the home in 1991 and began extensive restoration; refinishing the floors and walls and in the process discovering some very handsome beaded board walls behind sheetrock in the kitchen and rear bedroom.  The home was purchased by Ms. Davis in 2002 and she is continuing the process.
