The large two-story
Queen Anne style home was built around the turn of the Twentieth
Century. It has been fondly called “home” by many families
through the years. Mrs. Marie Payne acquired it in 1982 and has
given it new life once again.
Painted its original
white, the home features a wraparound porch on the ground floor,
with one-story columns. A smaller porch, with an arched entrance
and Corinthian style columns is located on the second floor.
Decorated wood shingles adorn the gables and bright green
awnings provide shade and interest.
