The American Bungalow style home was constructed as a two-story house in the early 1900’s. In 1923 it was rebuilt as two bungalows in the Craftsman style; low simple lines, high-beamed ceilings, center hall, fireplaces, and porches.

James and Nadine acquired the structure in 1967. The center hall was combined with the kitchen, breakfast room and pantry to create an open living area for the family. Kitchen and baths were updated. Central heat and air were installed. The front porch was glassed in.
