This Greek Revival style home was built circa 1905 for Mrs. W. A. Davidson. Dr. Sam Bowman owned this home for many years. Richard and Betty Gunning acquired this home from Bud and Nancy Pigg in 1991 and continued its restoration.

            The home is a classic example of its style. It is dominated by four massive tapered and fluted columns, with scamozzi capitals. The columns are reproduced seventeen times in various sizes. The balustrading is matched on the roof line, the veranda, and the upper gallery.
