This home was built in the 1840’s as a four- room farmhouse in the Dogtrot style. All of the outbuildings, including the barn, date back to the early farming days.

            Loring and Pat Stapleton acquired the property in 1963. The redwood paneling on the front exterior came from an old icehouse. Wide pine boards, from an old log-house, were used to cover the interior walls of the new family room.
